Practical. Engaging. Built for Today's DWI Investigator.
DWI MASTERMIND is an interactive training program designed to strengthen an officer's ability to recognize impairment, conduct thorough investigations, and build stronger DWI cases. Combining current case law, standardized field sobriety testing, drug-impaired driving concepts, and real-world case studies, the course emphasizes practical application over lecture alone.
Whether you're new to DWI enforcement or an experienced investigator looking to sharpen your skills, DWI MASTERMIND provides actionable techniques and courtroom-tested strategies that officers can immediately apply in the field.
About the Course
Brian Pascoe began his law enforcement career as an Alternate Route recruit at the Essex County Police Academy in late 2014. Since becoming a sworn police officer in 2015, he has built a career centered on proactive policing, officer development, and impaired driving investigations.
After serving two years with the Lambertville Police Department, Pascoe joined the Watchung Police Department, where he has served as a Field Training Officer (FTO), Acting Watch Commander, and certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).
As an active member of the Somerset County Drug Recognition Expert Call-Out Program, Pascoe regularly assists neighboring agencies with complex alcohol- and drug-impaired driving investigations. His experience includes cases involving alcohol, prescription medications, illicit substances, and polydrug impairment.
Dedicated to staying at the forefront of DWI enforcement, Pascoe regularly attends advanced DRE continuing education and specialized training on emerging drug trends and evolving investigative techniques. His passion for practical, real-world instruction inspired the creation of DWI MASTERMIND, a course designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and confident roadside decision-making.
